The Big Braw Brew
The Big Braw Brew (BBB) is a collaborative event organised by older people's groups in Helensburgh and Lomond, in partnership with Age Scotland and Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface (TSI). The BBB will highlight the contributions of older people, encourage social participation, strengthen community connections, promote individual well-being and active involvement in local Helensburgh & Lomond life.
Two Events are to be held to Launch a week of Big Braw Brew (BBB) activities around the Helensburgh & Lochside area :
Friday 24th October, 2025 from 1 - 3pm in the Gibson Hall, Garelochhead - Coffee & Cake with Information Stalls, Music and much more.
Saturday 25th October, 2025 from Noon to 3pm in the 3 Villages Hall in Arrochar - a Seated Tea, Coffee and Sandwiches which will have presentations from Guest Speakers and a film show, an activity session and further access to info on local activities
Both events are by Invitation and each community in Helensburgh and around the Lochside, will have representation. Transport will be available to take members to each of the venues. We have been allocated 14 invitations for the seated Tea in Arrochar and 3 Invites to the Garelochhead information day.
